Smooth installation process

The installation process is easy, it only requires you to press a few ‘Next’ buttons; please note that a system restart is required for the application to work properly.

Clean feature lineup

The user interface is pretty standard, so it's easy to get around it. The application is able to convert multiple files at a time and several parameters can be configured for each of the output formats.

You may add the content of an entire folder to the list, remove the selected documents or clear all of them with just one click, pick the saving directory, set up file naming rules, as well as open the target location at the end of the conversion process.

Performance

We tried converting the same PDF file to all available formats but it only worked with DOCs and RTFs. And text was not well preserved (some special characters disappeared completely) and the entire content was displayed chaotically (in the RTF document).

When we tried converting to XLS, HTM, and TXT, the software encountered an error in the conversion process, and we were prompted to install Microsoft Office 2003. Apparently, Office Convert PDF to PowerPoint for PPT Free only works for the last three document types provided that Office is installed.

Bottom line

This is a tricky application that doesn't live up to its name at all and to make matters worse, it takes up a considerable amount of CPU and memory. Conversion is done in a decent amount of time, but the results are doubtful.
